Police and fire crews are currently dealing with an incident at Hove town hall, where a person has climbed up the scaffolding on the council building this evening.
The local area has been cordoned off as emergency services work to resolve the situation.
Hove Town Hall is the headquarters of Brighton and Hove City Council. The current building was constructed in 1970 to replace the original 1882 Hall which was damaged by fire in 1966.
