Brighton’s Largest Casino Temporarily Closes Amid Uncertain Future

The well-known ‘Vegas-style’ casino has been a key entertainment hub in Brighton for two decades.

The Rendezvous Casino in Brighton Marina has temporarily closed as the Metropolitan Gaming Group conducts a comprehensive review of its long-term financial viability.

The venue, which markets itself as a ‘Vegas-style casino’, has been a fixture in Brighton Marina for over 20 years, offering a variety of casino games, a poker room, and dining and entertainment experiences. The closure raises concerns for both customers and employees who have been part of the casino’s long-standing operations.

In a statement, Metropolitan Gaming Group confirmed the decision, stating:

“We have made the decision to temporarily close the Rendezvous Casino in Brighton Marina while we conduct a comprehensive review of the business and evaluate its long-term financial viability.”

“During this period, our primary focus is on providing support to our colleagues at the Brighton venue as we explore every opportunity for its long-term success.”

The company has also reassured customers that all other Metropolitan Gaming venues across the UK remain open as usual.
