Emergency services were called to Manor Road on Thursday afternoon following an incident where a taxi overturned and crashed into a parked car.
A witness, speaking to Sussex News, reported, “I heard a loud crash, looked out the window, and saw the taxi upside down.”
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, and one person was transported to the hospital. Fortunately, the taxi was not carrying passengers at the time, and it is believed that only the driver sustained injuries.
The road remained closed for several hours as police conducted the necessary investigations and the vehicle was recovered.
