Brighton Tactical Enforcement Unit Seizes Significant Drug Haul

A suspected drug dealer was apprehended after attempting to evade police by hopping between gardens in Hove. Acting on intelligence, officers from Brighton’s Tactical Enforcement Unit executed a drugs warrant at a flat in Connaught Terrace around 7:55 AM on Monday, June 17.

The suspect fled through a window and was seen hopping between several neighbouring gardens. However, officers on the scene quickly coordinated with their colleagues, leading to a swift and safe arrest.

Inside the property, officers discovered a substantial quantity of cannabis, cocaine, and cash, with an estimated combined value of £25,000. The suspect, a 20-year-old man from Hove, was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply cannabis and cocaine. He has been released on conditional bail until September 17, pending further enquiries.
