This morning (21st June), around midnight police descended on Grand Parade Brighton, establishing a significant cordon.
A Police forensic officer (SOCO) was also in attendance at the scene placing evidence markers along with taking photos of the scene including in and around two tents erected in the flower beds.

A local resident who claimed to be an eye witness told Sussex News: “They come from that way (pointing at Morley Street), they pulled out blades, they looked like ninjas they were all covered up, then [the attackers] walked up and stabbed him in the bum.” This paper has been unable to confirm these claims.

This incident occurred outside of The Glenwood Lodge, a council-run hostel aimed at vulnerable adults. Outside the hostel, scattered on the street, bloodstained clothing and used medical equipment could be seen.
Police have been approached for comment on this incident.
