Halloween Horror: Incident in Brighton Wendy’s, Four Burned

A distressing incident at a Wendy’s restaurant on Western Road, Brighton, left four people hospitalised with burn injuries after an emergency on Thursday night. Sussex Police received a report around 8:30 p.m. on October 31 indicating that multiple people had sustained burns in the establishment’s restroom area.

Police and emergency services responded quickly to the call, implementing a temporary road closure on Western Road to manage the scene and facilitate medical assistance. All four individuals injured were taken to a nearby hospital, where their conditions are reported as serious but stable. The nature of the injuries has not been fully disclosed, but authorities confirmed the burns were significant.

As part of the response to the incident, Sussex Police increased their presence around the area to provide safety and gather information. Although the road closure has been lifted, police remain actively involved and are appealing to the public for any information that may assist in understanding the circumstances surrounding the event. They are particularly interested in speaking with witnesses or anyone with relevant details who may have been in or near Wendy’s during the evening.
