Sussex Police have announced an increased police presence in Brighton this Sunday as the city gears up for the highly anticipated Brighton & Hove Albion v Crystal Palace football match. The match, which kicks off at 2:00 PM, is expected to draw large crowds, and the measures aim to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone attending.

A Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) is in place across Brighton city centre. As part of the enforcement, fans are reminded that consuming alcohol outside of licensed premises, such as from bottles or cans, is prohibited. Officers will have the authority to seize and remove any alcohol found in breach of the PSPO.
