A man faces seven charges after a car theft incident in Brighton on Thursday, 19 October.
Upon receiving a report about a car theft at Richmond Parade, Brighton around 1:30 pm, officers initiated and concluded a tactical chase, intercepting the vehicle on North Street, Worthing.
The intervention involved multiple police units, ensuring a rapid and secure resolution. Necessary force was deployed to minimize potential public threats, resulting in the safe apprehension of the individual.
31-year-old Billy Eyre, without a permanent residence, has been charged with crimes including aggravated vehicle acquisition, intent to commit burglary, reckless driving, unlicensed driving, uninsured driving, evasion, and refusal to provide a sample. He is currently held in police custody.
