A tragic incident has occurred on the Brighton Mainline as a person has been hit by a train between Three Bridges and Horley. This has resulted in all lines being blocked between these stations while emergency services work to deal with the situation.
As a result of this incident, Gatwick Airport Station was initially closed, but it has now reopened for services from London and the Northbound direction. However, these services will only be able to terminate at Gatwick Airport and will not continue further.
Unfortunately, services from the South will not be able to go into Gatwick until further notice, and passengers are advised to seek alternative travel arrangements if possible.
The incident has caused significant disruption to train services, and passengers are advised to check with their train operator for the latest travel information and updates.
