Police are actively seeking to identify a man linked to a rape incident on Brighton Beach, occurring on Sunday, September 10th. Detectives are particularly interested in speaking to an individual captured in CCTV images near Kings Road Arches between 2 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. on that fateful morning.
Detective Chief Inspector Luke Kyriakides-Yeldham urged the public to come forward with any information, stating, “We are keen to hear from anyone who recognises the man or has any information about the incident.”
The victim is receiving support from specially trained officers, and security measures along the seafront have been intensified, thanks to collaborative efforts with night safety patrols, beach patrols, taxi marshals, and Safe Space.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the police online or by calling 101, quoting Operation Carpenter.
