Witness sought in recent Brighton street fight investigation

Police in Brighton are seeking assistance in identifying a potential witness to an altercation. Police were alerted to a fight on St. James’s Street at 3 am on October 5th.

A 31-year-old Brighton resident was arrested on suspicion of affray, and a 42-year-old man faces charges of affray, possession of an offensive weapon in public, and possessing a controlled Class A drug. Both have been conditionally released pending further inquiries.
