Cash stolen from Eastbourne WHSmith

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man believed to have information regarding a robbery that took place at the WHSmith store on Terminus Road in Eastbourne.

Around 3:30 pm on Saturday, 19th August, the suspect reportedly entered the store, took money from the till, and subsequently headed north on Terminus Road.

Police have released a photo of a man they believe can provide vital information in relation to their ongoing investigation. Officers are urging the individual, or anyone who recognizes him, to come forward.

Additionally, the police are keen to speak to any witnesses who were present in the vicinity during the incident and might have observed the events.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the police either online or by calling 101, referencing serial 939 of 19/08.
