A dispersal order to allow police to disperse groups of people engaging in anti-social behaviour has been put in place in Eastbourne Toen Centre Sunday Afternoon for 48 hours after police received a number of reports of anti-social behaviour by large groups of young people in the area.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said “A dispersal order has been put in place for 48 hours to enable officers and PCSOs to direct any sort of anti-social behaviour out of the area.
Failure to comply can result in an arrest and a criminal conviction.
Parents of young people are asked to have conversations with their children regarding anti-social behaviour and how this can impact the community.
Any concerns please do call 101 if not an emergency or 999 in an emergency.”
