East Sussex County Council highway gangs have been working round the clock to repair potholes across the region, following a spell of harsh weather that caused significant damage to roads across the UK.
The gangs have been repairing an impressive 8,261 potholes since the start of the year, and are urging the public to continue reporting any further damage via the council’s website.
Despite the challenging conditions, the council has remained committed to ensuring that the county’s roads remain safe and accessible for all, and has thanked the public for their ongoing support and cooperation.
