Fire service release statement following Peacehaven caravan fire

On Friday night this paper reported on a late night caravan fire, believed to have stated around 11pm.

Since a ESFRS spokesperson have released this statement: “We were called to the Highway, Peacehaven at 22:52 to reports of a fire.

“Four appliances were called, firefighters used eight breathing apparatus, firefighting foam and a hose reel jet to fight the fire.

“Crews left the scene at 1:50.”
