BTP investigating an assault on a train journey from Blackfriars to Brighton have released a CCTV image in relation to the incident.
On Saturday, June 24th, at approximately 2:40 pm, the victim, accompanied by friends, boarded the train and took a seat next to an unfamiliar man.
The man displayed verbal aggression towards the victim and proceeded to physically assault him by punching him in the head, causing the victim to lose consciousness. The assailant disembarked the train at London Bridge station.
As a result of the assault, the victim sustained bruising and a perforated eardrum.
BTP officials believe that the individual depicted in the CCTV image may possess information crucial to their investigation.
