Phocotpath Mark Brown has been found guilty of murdering two women in Sussex, Leah Ware and Alexandra Morgan and disposing of one of their bodies at a building site in Kent.
He was sentenced by judge Justice Nicholas Hilliard today (Friday, January 13th 2023) in his absence after he refused to attend Hove Crown Court.
Judge Mr Justice Hilliard gave him two life sentences with a minimum term of 49 years, less 380 days already spent on remand, to be served concurrently.
The 41-year-old denied both murders but was convicted following a complex investigation by detectives from Kent Police and Sussex Police.
Those in the public gallery at Hove Crown Court clapped and cheered s the sentence was handed down.
