Following enquiries, a 19-year-old man from Eastbourne was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm (ABH), intentional strangulation and being in possession of a controlled drug of class B – cannabis.

He has been released on bail with strict conditions until 16 April.
