Police investigating a sexual assault in Hastings have issued a renewed appeal for information following the release of a new CCTV image of a man officers wish to speak with.
The incident occurred on 12 February at around 2.15pm on Queen’s Road, near the Priory Meadow bus stops in the town centre. A local woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, reported being approached from behind by a man unknown to her before being sexually assaulted by touching.
The victim was left shaken by the incident and has since been receiving support from specially trained officers.
Following ongoing enquiries, Sussex Police have ruled out a man previously shown in an appeal issued on March 2, confirming that he faces no further police action. Investigators have now released a new CCTV image of another man they wish to speak with in connection to the case.

- Black trousers or tracksuit bottoms.
