Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a car robbery incident in Shoreham, that took place on Saturday, June 17. The incident occurred at approximately 12:30 pm in the car park of the B&Q store, Brighton Road.
A silver Nissan Note was stolen and was reported to have been driven away in the direction of Brighton. The vehicle was subsequently located and recovered just under an hour later at 1:10 pm, in the car park at the Tesco Holmbush store located on Upper Shoreham Road.
In the process of the robbery, another vehicle was reported to have been damaged.
Sussex Police are now seeking any potential witnesses to the incident or those who might have seen the stolen vehicle being driven towards the Tesco store. The authorities are interested in gathering as much information as possible to aid their ongoing investigation.
In particular, the police are keen to hear from anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam footage that might shed light on the events that transpired. They believe such footage could play a critical role in identifying the individual or individuals responsible for the theft and subsequent damage.
