Possible kidnapping incident in Hastings sparks police appeal for witnesses

Police are urging members of the public to come forward with any information following an incident in Falaise Road, Hastings, which occurred on Tuesday, May 30. The police were alerted to a possible kidnapping and promptly responded, dispatching officers to the scene at approximately 9:20 pm.

As part of the ongoing investigation and to provide a sense of security to the community, there was a notable increase in police presence in the area. The police have taken the incident seriously and are actively working to gather evidence and identify any potential suspects.

A 56-year-old man has been apprehended by the police on suspicion of involvement in the alleged kidnapping. He remains in custody as the investigation progresses. The authorities have not disclosed any further details about the suspect at this time.
