Decoy Drive in Eastbourne has been closed following a serious collision at around 11pm last night (13 February).
Emergency services are at the scene conducting an initial investigation to establish the full circumstances of what has happened.
The road closure is expected to remain in place into Tuesday, so motorists are asked to avoid the area and find alternative routes where possible.
Anybody who witnessed the incident or suspicious driving in the area around that time, or has relevant CCTV footage, can contact police online or via 101, quoting Operation Brinmore.
