Suspected drink driver crashes into ditch on A21

On the evening of April 19th, a member of the public made a call to the police, reporting a suspected drink driver on the A21 heading towards Hastings. The driver was described as driving on the rim with one tire missing, and the front bumper of the vehicle was hanging off. Moments later, the vehicle crashed into a ditch.

When officers arrived at the scene of the accident, they found the driver attempting to flee the scene. The driver was promptly arrested for several offenses, including failing to provide a roadside breath test, driving a motor vehicle without a valid license, and using a motor vehicle on a public road without third-party insurance.
