Following an extensive investigation led by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, the adorable donkey was recovered at an address on White House Lane in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, late last night.
The theft occurred sometime before 5 pm on Monday, 15th May, leaving the farm devastated and desperate to find their beloved Moon. Thankfully, the farm received a crucial tip that led them to contact the police, who wasted no time in mobilizing their forces. Officers from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary’s Countrywatch team joined hands with Thames Valley Police’s Rural Task Force team to crack the case.
After arriving at the identified address around 8:15 pm, authorities successfully located the stolen donkey and safely returned her to the overwhelmed and overjoyed owners. Police Sergeant Stuart Ross, from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary’s Countrywatch team, expressed his elation at the positive outcome, praising the collaborative efforts of both police forces involved.
