Body Found Following Welfare Concerns in Brighton

No Suspicious Circumstances Linked to Brighton Seafront Death

A man’s body was discovered near Madeira Terrace, Brighton, after police responded to reports of concern for his welfare early yesterday morning.

Authorities were alerted to the scene at approximately 7 a.m. on January 7, where they tragically confirmed the presence of a deceased male.

Police Confirm No Suspicious Circumstances

In a statement issued by Sussex Police, a spokesperson said, “Police received a report of concern for a man’s welfare at Madeira Terrace, Brighton, at about 7am on January 7. Sadly, the body of a man was found.”

They further confirmed that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident. The man’s next of kin have been notified.

“Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time,” the police added.

The area near Madeira Terrace remained undisturbed, with investigations concluding shortly after the discovery. The identity of the man has not been disclosed to the public out of respect for his family.

This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of mental health support and the need for ongoing community vigilance to aid those in distress.
