Despite the prompt arrival of the ambulance service, the 49-year-old victim was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have informed the man’s next of kin, offering them specialist support during this difficult time.

Sussex Road Police have begun an investigation to determine the circumstances leading up to the collision. As a result, the road where the incident occurred is expected to remain closed for an extended period. This closure is essential to facilitate the comprehensive examination of the scene by investigators.
