Sussex police are providing support to East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service in response to an alert about a fire incident occurring at the Hilton Brighton Metropole situated on Kings Road.
Seven fire engines have been dispatched to the location.
Kings Road currently is restricted to one lain eastbound.
All occupants of the hotel have been safely evacuated.
Emergency services on scene have told residents that it will be approximately one hour until they will be able to return.
