UPDATE NOW CLEAR: Delays in Newhaven after a car has collided with a tree

Emergency services have been called to a car that has collided with a tree on the Eastbound part of the Newhaven One Way system by the junction of Lewes Road.

One lane is open and traffic can pass.

The AA said at 3:10pm “Partially blocked and slow traffic due to crash, one vehicle involved on A259 North Way Eastbound between Lewes Road and A259 The Swing Bridge.”
