Driver flees after hitting 13-year-old in Rottingdean

The police are seeking the assistance of anyone who may have witnessed a car-pedestrian collision that occurred in Rottingdean. The incident unfolded on Rottingdean High Street just past 4 pm on Wednesday, October 4.

A 13-year-old boy from Saltdean, who was the pedestrian involved, sustained injuries in the collision and was subsequently transported to the hospital for medical attention.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the incident left the scene. Authorities are now urging any potential witnesses or individuals possessing pertinent CCTV, dashcam, or mobile phone footage to come forward.
