Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 37-year-old Amos Smith, who is wanted in connection with a series of shoplifting, burglary, and public order offences in the Eastbourne and Wealden areas. Smith, of no fixed address, has known links to Hastings and Guildford.
Described as 5’6″ tall, slim, with brown hair and green/hazel eyes, Smith can be identified by the tattoo on the right side of his neck reading “Nellie Rose Smith 19-03-08” and a bulldog tattoo on his left arm.
Police are urging anyone who sees Smith or has information about his whereabouts to dial 999 immediately and quote serial 337 of 10/04. The public is advised not to approach Smith, but to contact authorities instead.
