Family pay tribute to ‘our beautiful boy’ after fatal Crawley collision

The family of a child killed in a collision in Crawley on Friday (November 25) have paid tribute to their ‘beautiful boy’. An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances of Friday’s incident.

Twelve-year-old Tyler Wills, of Arnfield Close in Crawley, was involved in a collision with a car while walking in Crawley Avenue at around 2.45pm. He was taken to hospital by the ambulance service, where he sadly passed away.

His family have issued the following tribute: “Our beautiful boy Tyler – he was the most caring, loving, kind boy.”

“He has made his family so proud; he will be loved and missed forever. Our beautiful boy, I hope you’re up high kicking that ball… We love you more than words will ever say.”

“Mummy loves you.”

If you witnessed the collision or the events leading up to it, or have relevant dashcam footage that could help, contact police through collision.appeal@sussex.police.uk, quoting Operation Farnham.

Our thoughts go out to Tyler’s family and friends.
