Firefighters Battle Blaze at Car Workshop in Hurstpierpoint

Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex – Five fire engines from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service Hurstpierpoint Fire Station, Henfield Fire, Burgess Hill Fire and Rescue, and East Sussex Fire and Rescue were called to deal with a fire that broke out at a car workshop on Albourne Road.

According to sources, an off-road vehicle and a command support unit from Station 62 are also attending the scene to assist with the operation.

The fire has caused significant damage to the workshop and is still ongoing, which is why the authorities have requested people to avoid the area if nearby. They have also asked residents in the vicinity to keep their doors and windows shut as a precautionary measure.

In an update on the situation, the authorities announced that their presence at the site has increased, and now a total of eight fire engines, a water carrier, an off-road vehicle, and a command support unit are present at the scene.

The fire brigade is still working to put out the fire, and it is not clear what caused the fire or if there were any injuries.

This is a developing story, and we will provide more information as it becomes available.
