No injuries have been reported as a result of the fire. However, residents are urged to avoid the area while emergency services remain on scene, and those living nearby are advised to keep windows and doors closed due to smoke.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “We are currently assisting West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service at the scene of a house fire in Creasys Drive, Broadfield, Crawley. The incident is being treated as suspected deliberate ignition, and the public can expect to see an increased police presence in the area in the meantime. No injuries have been reported.”

Anyone with information related to the incident, including mobile, dash cam, or CCTV footage, is encouraged to report it online or call 101, quoting serial 815 of 14/09.
