Knife-Wielding robber strikes Tesco Express in Goring

Police are seeking witnesses to a robbery that occurred at the Tesco Express in Goring Way, Goring around 7:50 am on Saturday, 21st October.

A man approached the cashier, brandished a knife, and demanded money before escaping on Goring Way with approximately £150 in cash. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The individual is described as a white male, roughly 25 years old, with a slender build, standing between 5’11” and 6’1” tall, and sporting light brown hair. He was clad in an all-black tracksuit, including a hoodie and a balaclava, leaving only his eyes exposed.

Detective Sergeant Emma Fields said: “This was a frightening ordeal for the staff and we need to identify this suspect quickly. If anyone witnessed the robbery or has any information which could help our investigation, please report online or call 101 quoting serial 265 of 21/10.
