Mission and Vision

LEAVE NO TRACE BRIGHTON believes that collective community effort can significantly impact the preservation of Brighton’s stunning coastline. The mission is to empower the local community to take responsibility for the environment by reducing waste and promoting sustainable behaviours. The vision is to change the tone of Brighton Seafront, highlighting the negative environmental impact of irresponsibly disposed rubbish on the environment and coastal and ocean wildlife. LNTB strives towards a rubbish-free shoreline that enhances the natural beauty of Brighton’s beaches and supports the local ecosystem.

Artistic Collaboration with The Postman

LEAVE NO TRACE BRIGHTON has a well-established partnership with the renowned Brighton street artist, The Postman, known for impactful and vibrant artwork. In previous campaigns, The Postman created striking images of prominent figures like Caroline Lucas and David Attenborough, capturing the community’s attention and inspiring environmental action.

This year, The Postman has designed four exclusive pieces specifically for the LNTB campaign. These eye-catching, colourful artworks feature animals native to Brighton’s shores – a crab, a seagull, a dolphin, and a seal. The artworks are intended to inspire the community to recognize and reduce their environmental impact, promoting a cleaner, more sustainable coastline.
