Man Dies Following Incident on A27 at Shoreham, Road Closed in Both Directions

A tragic incident has led to the closure of the A27 in both directions at Shoreham, Sussex Police have confirmed. Authorities have not yet provided further details regarding the nature of the incident, but it has been confirmed that a man has sadly lost his life.

The road is currently closed on the eastbound carriageway between the Lancing Manor roundabout and Hangleton, while the westbound closure spans from the Holmbush roundabout to the Shoreham flyover.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said:
“A road closure is currently in place in both directions on the A27 at Shoreham following an incident where a man has sadly died. We ask those travelling to take alternate routes while emergency services work at the scene.”
