Man Found Dead in Worthing Car Park After Welfare Concerns

Police were called to Eriswell Road car park following concerns for the man’s welfare.

Sussex Police were called to Eriswell Road car park in Worthing after concerns were raised for a man’s welfare on Wednesday, October 2. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 36-year-old man from Lancing who was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.

The emergency call was made around 2:55 p.m., prompting a swift emergency services response. Despite efforts, the man was found deceased when authorities arrived.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police confirmed the details:
“Police were called following concerns for a man’s welfare in Eriswell Road Car Park, Worthing, around 2.55pm on Wednesday, October 2. Officers arrived and a 36-year-old man from Lancing was found dead at the scene. His next of kin has been informed. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances.”

While the investigation continues, police have confirmed that there are no indications of foul play. The man’s next of kin has been notified, and the community is being asked to respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time.
