Four Cases Reported in Tilgate Woods and Crawley Down Since March 2024

Four incidents have been reported, with the first occurring on March 18, 2024, near Worth Way, Crawley Down. Subsequent incidents took place in Tilgate Woods on June 13, July 22, and July 24, 2024. All incidents occurred between 7.30 am and 10 am.

The suspect has been described consistently across all incidents as a slim, white man wearing tights. In some cases, he has also been reported wearing a mask.

We have launched an investigation to identify the suspect and enquiries are ongoing to do so. If you have any information or footage or have seen anyone acting suspiciously in these areas, please contact police online or call 101 quoting Operation Marmion.”
