Man threatened with mcachete in Hastings taxi robbery

Police are seeking assistance from witnesses in connection with an attempted robbery that occurred in Hastings.

A man in his twenties, who was a passenger in a taxi, was confronted by two individuals on a moped. One of the suspects brandished a machete through the window and demanded valuables.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was subsequently transported to the hospital, where the incident was reported to the police.

This incident occurred on Wednesday, September 20th, at approximately 6:20 pm on Malvern Way.
