MP for Eastbourne confirms Meads Street Post Office to re-open in December

In a letter to her constituents, Caroline Ansell MP confirmed Meads Street Post Office, Eastbourne is set to re-open at 13:00pm, December 7th. The new Post Office will be housed inside the “Welcome store” in the space formerly occupied by the Co-Op and will offer a full range of post office services.

Ansell went on to thank several contributors to the effort to re-open this essential local service. Included were, Meads counsellors Jane Lamb, Robert Smart and the Meads community association. Also the Mp also extended her thanks to Rev Giles Carpenter who hosted an interim service until August at their church, St John the evangelical on St John’s road.
