On Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at 9:04 am, Newhaven Lifeboat responded to a 44-foot boat with a fire onboard.
They promptly towed it to Brighton Marina’ after the fire was put out
The fire is believed to have started accidentally, resulting in two individuals being treated for smoke inhalation and transferred to the ambulance service.
Crews from Roedean and Preston Circus used thermal imaging cameras to ensure there were no hotspots.
