Updated: Adrift From Devon: The Six-Day Odyssey of ‘Noah’s Ark’ to Sussex Coast

Local coastguards responded to a call this afternoon at Saltdean Beach, where adverse weather conditions had washed a small vessel ashore, curiously named “Noah’s Ark.” Braving heavy rain and strong winds, coastguard teams went in into action.

Their top priority was ensuring the safety of the vessel and preventing any potential pollution to the sea. After a concerted effort, the coastguard teams successfully secured the vessel, eliminating any immediate threat to the public or the environment.

Upon further investigation, markings on the boat revealed that it had become untethered from its moorings in Teignmouth on December 22nd. The vessel had spent approximately six days navigating the turbulent seas from Devon, crossing various counties and passing the Isle of Wight, before reaching Sussex.
