Norse Atlantic ‘wing’-s its way from Gatwick to Washington

Norse Atlantic Airways has announced the start of its new air route linking London Gatwick and Washington D.C., set to enhance transatlantic travel options and boost tourism and business between these two capital cities. The inaugural flight took off on Thursday, June 1st.

Providing six flights a week, the new service offers fares starting from £450 return, inclusive of all taxes. Departures from London Gatwick are scheduled at 15:00, arriving at Washington Dulles at 18:20 local time. The return flight departs at 20:25, arriving in London at 08:45 the following day.

Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO of Norse Atlantic Airways, expressed his enthusiasm about the new route: “We are pleased to now provide travellers with a greater choice and affordable fares on the first service linking London Gatwick and Washington Dulles. We anticipate a busy summer ahead as we become Gatwick’s largest carrier to the US.”

Passengers flying with Norse Atlantic will enjoy the comfort of travelling on Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. Each seat comes equipped with a personal state-of-the-art entertainment system for a relaxing travel experience. Passengers in the Premium cabin will experience an industry-leading 43” seat pitch and 12” recline, enabling them to arrive at their destination feeling refreshed.

Norse Atlantic Airways offers two cabin choices, Economy and Premium, along with a range of fare options to meet different passenger needs. The fare categories include Light, Classic, and Flextra, with the Light fares representing Norse’s value option and Flextra fares providing maximum baggage allowance, two meal services, an enhanced airport and onboard experience, and increased ticket flexibility. The new route and these tailored offerings reflect Norse Atlantic Airways’ commitment to delivering high-quality, flexible travel options for its passengers.
