Police Appeal After Teenagers Assaulted at Worthing Leisure Centre

Four teenagers physically attacked at Splashpoint Leisure Centre

Witnesses urged to come forward following violent incident

Sussex Police are appealing for witnesses after four teenagers were assaulted at Splashpoint Leisure Centre in Worthing.

The incident occurred on Sunday, 1 June, around 7.30pm. The teenagers were reportedly in the bike area at the front of the building when they were approached by a group of four or five individuals who began swearing at and physically attacking them.

One suspect has been described as a young woman or girl wearing a blue tracksuit. Another suspect was identified as a young woman or girl in a brown leather jacket.

Police officers are currently investigating the assault and urge anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have relevant information including mobile phone or CCTV footage, to contact them.

Information can be reported to Sussex Police online or by dialling 101, quoting serial 1164 of 01/06.
