Police are appealing for witnesses following a vehicle pursuit that took place in the Sidley area on Sunday night (27 April).
At around 9.30pm, officers attempted a traffic stop on a black Toyota Prius in Glovers Lane, Sidley. However, the vehicle failed to stop and collided with police cars before making off from the scene.
A pursuit ensued through the areas of Sidley and Bexhill, before specially trained officers successfully brought the vehicle to a stop near North Road and Watermill Lane, Sidley.
Police are now asking for anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage of the black Toyota Prius or the police pursuit to come forward.
