Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a bus and a pedestrian in Brighton

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a bus and a pedestrian in Brighton.

A 19-year-old woman from London sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision which occurred in St Georges Place, just before midnight on Thursday, December 8.

She was taken to hospital by paramedics, where she remains in a critical condition.

Enquiries are continuing and officers are eager to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time of the collision.
