Updated- Three people now arrested after a report of a rape at The Level in Brighton in the early hours of this morning

UPDATE: Officers have arrested three men today. A 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape, while a 19-year-old man and 20-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to rape.

Police are investigating a report of a rape at The Level in Brighton in the early hours of Friday, September 16.

It took place between 12.30am to 1.30am, and officers are seeking to trace three men in connection with the incident.

The first was a slim white man with short blond hair who wore a tracksuit.

The second was a medium build white man, 5’10”, wearing a blue polo shirt and jeans.

The third was a skinny white man in his 40s, 6’, with grey hair and a short brown and grey beard.

Officers have increased patrols and presence in the area as part of the investigation.

The victim is receiving support from specially-trained officers. Information and support for victims of rape and serious sexual assault is available on the Sussex Police website here.

Detectives have appealed for witnesses or anyone who may have seen something suspicious in the area at the time to come forward.
