Police Arrest Suspect in St Leonards Following Stabbing

In St Leonards, a man has been taken into custody and charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH).

Early on Friday, December 22nd, at 4.38 am, police responded to an assault report at a local residence. A 27-year-old woman, suffering from an injury indicative of a stabbing, was hospitalized for treatment and is now out of the hospital, under the support of Police officers.

37-year-old Kerri Fordham, who is currently without a permanent address, was arrested following police investigations. Fordham faces charges of GBH with intent, criminal damage, and breach of a non-molestation order.

The accused has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, December 26th.
