Police Descend on Brighton’s Level Skate Park After Assault

Witnesses sought as Brighton authorities work to unravel skate park altercation

A large emergency response unfolded at the Level skate park in Brighton Sunday afternoon as multiple units from Sussex Police, alongside an ambulance from SECAMB, rushed to the scene just after 4 pm following reports of an assault.

One girl sustained minor injuries in the altercation, prompting immediate medical attention. Two males were swiftly arrested in connection with the incident, as confirmed by a spokesperson for Sussex Police.

The police spokesperson stated, “Police responded to a report of an assault at The Level, Lewes Road, Brighton at 4.10 pm on Sunday (24 March). A 25-year-old woman suffered minor injuries. Officers arrested a 32-year-old man and a 34-year-old man in connection with the incident. An investigation is ongoing.”

Sussex Police urge witnesses or anyone with pertinent information to come forward, either by contacting Sussex Police online or calling 101, quoting serial 723 of 24/03.
