Police Hunt Burglar After Six Businesses Targeted Overnight in Bognor

CCTV released as Sussex Police investigate linked break-ins across town and Tangmere

Sussex Police are investigating a series of business burglaries across Bognor Regis after six premises were broken into overnight between Tuesday 2 April and Wednesday 3 April.

The break-ins occurred at various locations, including Bedford Street, High Street, The Boulevard in Tangmere, and a Co-op store in Chichester Road. Officers believe the incidents are connected and have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak with in relation to the investigation.

Detective Inspector Ed Bohnet commented: “We acknowledge the financial and emotional impact business crime has on owners and employees, particularly when a business is repeatedly targeted. We’re urging anyone with information or footage to come forward.”

Sussex Police are specifically appealing to anyone who:

Witnessed suspicious activity in the area on the night in question

Has CCTV, doorbell, dashcam, or mobile phone footage that may assist

Recognises the man shown in the released CCTV image

Anyone with information should contact Sussex Police online or by calling 101, quoting serial 956 of 03/04.
